On 22 January, at the event to celebrate the traditional Vietnamese New Year (Tết) organised by the Union Générale de Vietnamiens en Belgique, we were able to open a stand where we sold coffee and tea. We also had decorations for Tết on sale. All for the start of the “year of the cat” celebrated that Sunday with a fantastic show at the cultural centre of Woluwe-Saint-Pierre.

Together with the orders received online for decorations and ao dai and so on, we realised proceeds of €1,239. A fantastic amount that we can spend to further support vulnerable children.

The enthusiastic team in charge of sales.

Thanks to Mr Viet, we were able to have a wide range of coffees from Vietnam.

Coffee brewed in the traditional Vietnamese way.

Decorative items were also popular with the public.
